RESOLUTION
APPROVING THE SUBMISSION OF A GRANT APPLICATION IN THE
AMOUNT OF $25,000 TO THE STATE OF TEXAS COMPTROLLER OF
PUBLIC ACCOUNTS FOR TOBACCO COMPLIANCE AND PREVENTION
ACTIVITIES.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the City Manager, or his designee, is authorized to submit a grant application
in the amount of $25,000 to the State of Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts for tobacco
compliance and prevention activities,
SECTION 2. In the event of the loss or misuse of these funds, the City of Corpus Christi assures
that the funds will be returned to the State of Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts in full.
