HomeMy WebLinkAbout024933 ORD - 07/09/2002ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $967,421 FROM FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION GRANT NO. 3-45-0051-28-00 AMENDMENT NO. 3 IN THE NO. 3020 AIRPORT CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND FOR THE TERMINAL RECONSTRUCTION PROGRAM; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That $967,42t is appropriated from Federal Aviation Administration Grant No. 3-48-0051-28-00 Amendment No. 3 in the No. 3020 Airport Capital Improvement Fund to fund the terminal reconstruction program. SECTION 2. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, the City Council (1) finds and declares an emergency due to the need for immediate action necessary for the efficient and effective administration of City affairs and (2) suspends the Charter rule that requires consideration of and voting upon ordinances at two regular meetings so tha~t.~s ordinance i?~. assed and takes effect upon first reading as an emergency measure this the ~lqday of ,] ¢C~ ,2002.
