APPROVING THE SUBMISSION OF A GRANT APPLICATION IN THE
AMOUNT OF $297,362 TO THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE,
BUREAU OF JUSTICE ASSISTANCE FOR FUNDING ELIGIBLE UNDER
THE FY 2002 LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT BLOCK GRANTS
PROGRAM.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CORPUS CHRIST1, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The City Council hereby approves the submission of a grant application in the
amount of $297,362 to the U.S. Department of Justice, Bureau of Justice Assistance, for funding
eligible under the FY 2002 Local Law Enforcement Block Grants Program.
