AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR HIS DESIGNEE TO SUBMIT
A GRANT APPLICATION TO THE TELECOMMUNICATIONS
INFRASTRUCTURE FUND BOARD 1N THE AMOUNT OF $55,000 TO
PROVIDE INTERNET AND APPLICATION COMPUTER
WORKSTATIONS AT CORPUS CHRISTI PUBLIC LIBRARIES FOR
INDIVIDUALS WITH VISUAL, HEARING AND MOBILITY DISABILITIES
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. That the City Manager or his designee is authorized to submit a gram
application to the Telecommunications Infrastructure Fund Board in the amount of $55,000 to
provide Internet and application computer workstations at Corpus Christi public libraries for
individuals with visual, hearing and mobility disabilities.
