AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR DESIGNEE TO EXECUTE A
TRAFFIC SIGNAL AGREEMENT WITH THE TEXAS DEPARTMENT
OF TRANSPORTATION GOVERNING THE INSTALLATION,
MAINTENANCE AND OPERATION OF PROPOSED TRAFFIC SIGNALS
ON IH 37 FRONTAGE ROAD AT MCKINZIE ROAD (F.M. 3386) AND
FUTURE TRAFFIC SIGNALS ON FRONTAGE ROADS AT
INTERCHANGES WITH THE STATE FREEWAY SYSTEM WITHIN
THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1: The City Manager or designee is authorized to execute a Traffic Signal
Agreement with the Texas Department of Transportation governing the installation, maintenance
and operation of proposed traffic signals on IH 37 Frontage Road at McKinzie Road (F.M. 3386)
and future traffic signals on frontage roads at interchanges with the state freeway system within
the City of Corpus Christi.
