AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER, OR HIS DESIGNEE, TO
EXECUTE AN INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT WITH THE REGIONAL
TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY PURSUANT TO THE INTERLOCAL
COOPERATIVE ACT TO PROVIDE FOR THE PROCUREMENT OF FIXED
EQUIPMENT AND COMMUNICATIONS EQUIPMENT FOR THE
DEVELOPMENT OF A NEW TRAFFIC SIGNAL ON MCARDLE STREET
ADJACENT TO THE RTA'S NEW SOUTHSIDE TRANSIT STATION.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The City Manager or designee is authorized to execute an Interlocal
Agreement with the Regional Transportation Authority in Corpus Christi, Texas (the "RTA')
pursuant to the Interlocal Cooperative Act to provide for the procurement of fixed equipment and
communications equipment for the development of a new Traffic Signal on McArdle Street adjacent
to the RTA s new Southside Transit Station.
