AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER, OR HIS DESIGNEE, TO
EXECUTE A MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE UNITED
STATES GOVERNMENT AND CORPUS CHRISTI INTERNATIONAL
AIRPORT TO PROVIDE LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS AT SECURITY
CHECKPOINTS AT THE AIRPORT IN CONSIDERATION OF
REIMBURSEMENT OR PARTIAL REIMBURSEMENT EFFECTIVE
THROUGH DECEMBER I, 2003.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION I. The City Manager, or his designee, is hereby authorized to execute a
Memorandum of Agreement between the United States Government and Corpus Christi
International Airport to provide law enforcement officers at security checkpoints at the Airport in
consideration of reimbursement or partial reimbursement effective through December 1, 2003.
