HomeMy WebLinkAbout025176 ORD - 01/21/2003ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING A $9,000 CONTRIBUTION IN THE NO. 1020 GENERAL FUND FROM THE PADRE ISLAND BUSINESS ASSOCIATION TO DEFRAY CONSULTING EXPENSES ASSOCIATED WITH THE DEVELOPMENT OF A BUSINESS OVERLAY DISTRICT; AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 024974 WHICH ADOPTED THE FY 2002-2003 ANNUAL BUDGET BY INCREASING APPROPRIATIONS BY $9,000; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That a $9,000 contribution from the Padre Island Business Association to defray consulting expenses associated with the development of a business overlay district is appropriated in the No. 1020 General Fund. SECTION 2. That Ordinance No. 024974 which adopted the FY 2002-2003 annual budget is amended by increasing appropriations by $9,000. SECTION 3.
