AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER, OR THE CITY MANAGER'S
DESIGNEE, TO ACCEPT AN $10,000 GRANT FROM THE TEXAS
DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY DIVISION OF EMERGENCY
MANAGEMENT IN THE AMOUNT OF $10,000, UNDER THE FY 2003
FACILITIES AND EQUIPMENT GRANT, FOR THE PURCHASE OF
AUDIO, VISUAL, AND COMMUNICATION EQUIPMENT FOR THE
EMERGENCY OPERATIONS CENTER, WITH A CITY IN-KIND MATCH
OF $'10,000 AND A TOTAL PROJECT COSTS OF $20,000
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager, or the City Manager's designee, is authorized to accept
a grant from the Texas Department of Public Safety Division of Emergency
Management in the amount of $10,000, under the FY 2003 Facilities and Equipment
Grant, for the purchase of audio, visual, and communication equipment for the
Emergency Operations Center. The City match for this grant is an in-kind match of
$10,000, for a total project costs of $20,000.
