AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER, OR THE CITY MANAGER'S
DESIGNEE, TO SUBMIT A GRANT APPLICATION TO THE NATIONAL
ENDOWMENT FOR THE ARTS FAST-TRACK REVIEW GRANT FOR
CULTURAL TOURISM PROGRAM IN THE AMOUNT OF $10,000 FOR
MARKETING THE FESTIVAL OF THE ARTS, WITH A CITY MATCH OF
$10,000 IN THE NO. 1030, HOTEL OCCUPANCY TAX FUND, AND A
TOTAL PROJECT COSTS OF $20,000.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager, or the City Manager's designee, is authorized to submit
a grant application to the National Endowment for the Arts Fast-Track Review Grant for
Cultural Tourism Program in the amount of $10,000 for marketing the Festival of the
Arts. The City match for this grant is $10,000 in the No. 1030, Hotel Occupancy Tax
Fund, for a total project costs of $20,000.
SECTION 2. The City Manager, or the City Manager's designee, may accept, reject,
agree to alter the terms and conditions, or terminate the grant, if the grant is awarded to
the City.
