AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER, OR THE CITY MANAGER'S
DESIGNEE, TO ACCEPT A GRANT FROM THE TEXAS DEPARTMENT
OF PUBLIC SAFETY DIVISION ON EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT IN
THE AMOUNT OF $1,000 FOR TELEVISION PUBLIC SERVICE
ANNOUNCEMENTS DURING THE 2003 HURRICANE SEASON
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager, or the City Manager's designee, is authorized to accept
a grant from the Texas Department of Public Safety Division on Emergency
Management in the amount of $1,000 for television public service announcements
during the 2003 Hurricane Season.
SECTION 2. The City Manager, or the City Manager's designee, may reject, alter or
terminate the grant.
