HomeMy WebLinkAbout025367 ORD - 07/08/2003ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $119,790 IN UNAPPROPRIATED INTEREST EARNINGS FROM THE WATER CIP FUND NO. 4082 (1995 REVENUE BOND) FOR CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT SERVICES FOR VARIOUS CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS ASSOCIATED WITH THE 2003 CAPITAL BUDGET; AMENDING CAPITAL BUDGET ADOPTED BY ORDINANCE NO. 025144 TO INCREASE APPROPRIATIONS BY $119,790; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That $119,790 in unappropriated interest earnings from the Water CIP Fund No. 4082 (1995 Revenue Bond); is appropriated for construction management services for various Capital Improvement Projects associated with the 2003 Capital Budget. SECTION 2. That the Capital Budget adopted by Ordinance 025144 is amended to increase appropriations by $119,790. SECTION 3. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, the City Council (1) finds and declares an emergency due to the need for immediate action necessary for the efficient and effective administration of City affairs and (2) suspends the Charter rule that requires consideration of and voting upon ordinances at two regular meetings so that this ordinance is p~d and takes effecJ~or~first reading as an emergency measure this the ~l ~day of ,~ L~-~,~../ , 2003.
