AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR HIS DESIGNEE TO EXECUTE
A LOCAL PROJECT ADVANCED FUNDING AGREEMENT FOR
VOLUNTARY TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT PROJECT WITH
THE TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION (TxDOT)
GOVERNING THE CONSTRUCTION OF A PROPOSED DRAINAGE
CULVERT ON FM 70 TO SERVE THE FUTURE DEVELOPMENT OF
CEFE VALENZUELA LANDFILL IN THE AMOUNT OF $'16,000 FOR
PRELIMINARY ENGINEERING AND $900,000 FOR CONSTRUCTION
(SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY OF FUNDS).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS:
Section 1. The City Manager or his designee is authorized to execute a Local Project
Advanced Funding Agreement for Voluntary Transportation Improvement Project with
the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) governing the construction of a
proposed drainage culvert on FM 70 to serve the future development of Cefe
Valenzuela landfill in the amount of $16,000 for preliminary engineering and $900,000
for construction (subject to availability of funds).
