BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That $53,154.,~2 from the Water Arterial Transmission and Grid
Main Trust Fund No. 4030-2p9010 is appropriated to pay developer (Diocese of
Corpus Christi) reimbursement request for the installation of 1,892 linear feet of a
12-inch PVC water grid mairi to develop St. Helena Church Lot 1, Block 1.
SECTION 2. That upon written request of the Mayor or five council members,
copy attached, the City Cour~cil (1) finds and declares an emergency due to the
need for immediate action n~cessary for the efficient and effective administration
of City affairs and (2) suspeqds the Charter rule that requires consideration of
and voting upon ordinances ~at two regular meetings so that this ordinance is
passed and shall take effect upon first reading as an emergency this the 22nd
day of July, 2003.

introduced, or at the present~ meeting of the City Council.
