HomeMy WebLinkAbout025414 ORD - 08/19/2003ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $1,538,373 FROM THE FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION ENTI~'LEMENT GRANT NO. 3-48-0051-034-02 INTO AIRPORT CIP FUND 3020 FOR TERMINAL IMPROVEMENTS, PHASE II AND AIRPORT DRAI~IAGE, PHASE III; AMENDING FY 2002-2003 CAPITAL BUDGET AqOPTED BY ORDINANCE NO. 025144 TO INCREASE APPROPRI/~TIONS BY $1,538,373; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That $1,538,373 is appropriated from the Federal Administration Entitlement Grant No. 3-48-0051-034-02 into Airport CIP Fund 3020 for terminal improvements, Phase I and Airport Drainage, Phase III. SECTION 2. That the FY 2002-2003 Capital Budget adopted by Ordinance No. 025144 is amended to increase appropriations by $1,538,373. SECTION 3. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, the City Council (1) finds and declares an emergency due to the need for immediate action necessary for the efficient and effective administration of City affairs and (2) suspends the Charter rule that requires consideration of and voting upon ordinances at two regular meetings so that this ordinarc_,e4~s passed and takes effect upon first eading as an emergency measure this the t'"~day of  _~ , 2003.
