AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR THE CITY MANAGER'S
DESIGNEE TO EXECUTE ALL NECESSARY DOCUMENTS FOR
CONTINUED FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR BEACH CLEANING AND
MAINTENANCE ON NORTH PADRE AND MUSTANG ISLANDS
DURING FY 2003-20q4 UNDER THE TEXAS GENERAL LAND
OFFICE'S CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the Texas General Land Office requires the annual submission of an
application for financial assistanlce by local governments for beach cleaning and
maintenance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager or the City Manager's designee is authorized to execute
all necessary documents to request continued financial assistance for the cleaning and
maintenance of beaches under the City jurisdiction on North Padre and Mustang Islands
during FY 2003-2004 under the Texas General Land Office' Beach Cleaning and
Maintenance Assistance Program, as provided in 31 Texas Administrative Code
Chapter 25.
