HomeMy WebLinkAbout025495 ORD - 09/23/2003ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $19~,581 FROM THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE, BUREAU OF JUSTIC~ASSISTANCE, IN THE NO. 1061 POLICE GRANT FUND TO PURCHASE LAW ENFORCEMENT EQUIPMENT FOR THE POLICE DEPARTMENT; AND APPROPRIATING $22,065 FROM THE NO. 1061 LAW ENFORCEI~ENT TRUST FUND AS THE GRANT MATCH; AND DECLARING AN EMEI~GENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CI~'Y COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That $198,581 is appropriated from the U.S. Department of Justice, Bureau of Justice Assistance,, in the No. 1061 Police Grant Fund to purchase law enforcement equipment for the Police Department. SECTION 2. That $22,065 is appropriated from the No. 1061 Law Enforcement Trust Fund as the grant match. SECTION 3.
