HomeMy WebLinkAbout025506 RES - 09/30/2003RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER, OR THE CITY MANAGER'S DESIGNEE, TO SUBMIT AN APPLICATION TO THE TEXAS PARKS & WILDLIFE DEPARTMENT FOR A SUBRECIPIENT GRANT UNDER THE U.S. FISH AND WILDLIFE SERVlCE'S BOATING INFRASTRUCTURE GRANT PROGRAM IN THE AMOUNT OF $450,000 FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF 48 BOAT SLIPS FOR VISITING VESSELS IN THE CORPUS CHRISTI MARINA, WITH A CITY MATCH OF $'150,000 IN THE NO. 4700 MARINA FUND AND A TOTAL PROJECT COSTS OF $600,O00 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. The City Manager, or the City Manager's designee, is authorized to submit an application to the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department for a subrecipient grant under the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service's boating infrastructure grant program in the amount of $450,000 for the construction of 48 boat slips for visiting vessels in the Corpus Christi Marina. The City match for this grant is $150,000 in the No. 4700 Marina Fund, and a total project costs of $600,000. SECTION 2. The City Manager, or the City Manager's designee, may accept, reject, agree to alter the terms and conditions, or terminate the grant, if the grant is awarded to the City.
