HomeMy WebLinkAbout025528 RES - 10/21/2003RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER, OR THE CITY MANAGER'S DESIGNEE, TO SUBMIT A COASTAL MANAGEMENT GRANT APPLICATION TO THE COASTAL COORDINATION COUNCIL IN THE AMOUNT OF $15,000 FOR A FEASABILITY STUDY ON BAY DEBRIS CATCHMENT SYSTEMS IN THE STORMWATER OUTFALLS THAT ARE LOCATED IN THE CORPUS CHRISTI MARINA, WITH A CITY MATCH OF $15,000 IN THE NO. 1058 MARINA FUND AND A TOTAL PROJECT COST OF $30,000. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. The City Manager, or the City Manager's designee, is authorized to submit a Coastal Management Grant application to the Coastal Coordination Council in the amount of $15,000 for a Feasability Study on Bay Debris Catchment Systems in the Stormwater Outfalls that are located in the Corpus Christi Marina. The City match for this grant is $15,000 in the No. 1058 Marina Fund, and a total project cost of $30,000. SECTION 2. The City Manager, or the City Manager's designee, may accept, reject, agree to alter the terms of the conditions, or terminate the grant, if the grant is awarded to the City.
