AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER, OR HIS DESIGNEE,
TO EXECUTE A LEASE AGREEMENT WITH THE UNITED
STATES THROUGH ITS GENERAL SERVICES
ADMINISTRATION FOR THE TRANSPORTATION
SECURITY ADMINISTRATION FOR USE OF SPACE AT
CORPUS CHRISTI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT IN
CONSIDERATION OF PAYMENT OF RENT AT AN
ANNUAL RATE OF $66.71 PER SQUARE FOOT, FOR A
TERM OF FIFTY-FOUR MONTHS WITH THE OPTION TO
EXTEND FOR AN ADDITIONAL FIFTY-FOUR MONTHS;
PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager, or his designee, is authorized to execute a lease
agreement with the United States through its General Services Administration for the
Transportation Security Administration for use of space at Corpus Christi International
Airport in consideration of payment of fees that total an annual rate of $66.71 per
square foot, for a term of fifty-four months with the option to extend the term for an
additional fifty-four months.
SECTION 2. Publication will be made in the official publication of the City of Corpus
Christi as required by the City Charter of the City of Corpus Christi.
