AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER, OR THE CITY MANAGER'S
DESIGNEE, TO EXECUTE CONTRACT TO ACCEPT A GRANT FROM
THE TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY IN THE AMOUNT OF
$16,920 FOR HAZARDOUS MATERIALS EMERGENCY
PREPAREDNESS PLANNING ACTIVITIES
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS;
SECTION 1. The City Manager, or the City Manager's designee, is authorized to
execute a contract to accept a grant from the Texas Department of Public Safety in the
amount of $16,920 for hazardous materials emergency preparedness planning
activities. The City's cash match for this grant is $4,230 from fund 6060-21700-530500
for total project cost of $21,150.
SECTION 2. The City Manager, or the City Manager's designee, may reject, alter or
terminate the grant.
