APPROPRIATING $148,350 FROM THE UNAPPROPRIATED CLAIM
SETTLEMENT FROM CITY HALL CIP FUND NO. 3160 FOR THE CITY
HALL FIRST FLOOR CALL CENTER; AMENDING CAPITAL BUDGET
ADOPTED BY ORDINANCE NO. 025647 BY INCREASING
APPROPRIATIONS BY $148,350; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
rtE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That $148,350 is appropriated from the claim settlement earnings from
City Hall CIP Fund No. 3160 for the City Hall First Floor Call Center.
SECTION 2. That Capital Budget adopted by Ordinance No. 025647 is amended by
increasing appropriations by $148,350.
SECTION 3. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy
attached, the City Council (1) finds and declares an emergency due to the need for
immediate action necessary for the efficient and effective administration of City affairs,
and (2) suspends the Charter rule that requires consideration of and voting upon
ordinances at two regular meetings so that this ordina ,~ i~ passed ari~J takes effect

at the present meeting of the City Council.
