HomeMy WebLinkAbout025715 ORD - 04/13/2004ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $210,000 FROM THE UNAPPROPRIATED SETTLEMENT PROCEEDS IN CITY HALL CIP FUND NO. 3160 FOR ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES FOR CITY HALL RENOVATION PHASE 2 PROJECT; AMENDING CAPITAL BUDGET ADOPTED BY ORDINANCE NO. 025647 BY INCREASING APPROPRIATIONS BY $210,000; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That $210,000 is appropriated from the unappropriated settlement proceeds in City Hall CIP Fund No. 3160 for architectural services for the City Hall Renovation Phase 2 project. SECTION 2. That Capital Budget adopted by Ordinance No. 025647 is amended by increasing appropriations by $210,00Q SECTION 3. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, the City Council (1) finds and declares an emergency due to the need for immediate action necessary for the efficient and effective administration of City affairs and (2) suspends the Charter rule that requires consideration of and voting upon ordinances at two regular meetings so that this ordinance is ~assed and takes effect upon first reading as an emergency measure this the day ~ ] , 2004.
