HomeMy WebLinkAbout025757 RES - 05/18/2004A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR HIS DESIGNEE TO SUBMIT MUNICIPAL SOLID WASTE GRANT APPLICATION TO THE COASTAL BEND COUNCIL OF GOVERNMENTS IN THE AMOUNT OF $15,000 TO DEVELOP A COMMUNITY MEDIA OUTREACH CAMPAIGN FOR THE CITY'S NEW ANTI-UTI'ER ORDINANCE. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS, THAT: SECTION 1. The City Manager or designee is authorized to submit a municipal solid waste grant application to the Coastal Bend Council of Governments in the amount of $15,000 to develop a Community Media Outreach Campaign for the City's new Anti- Litter Ordinance. SECTION 2. If the grant is received, the City of Corpus Christi will comply with the grant requirements of the Coastal Bend Council of Governments, the Texas Natural Resource Conservation Commission, and the State of Texas.
