AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR HIS DESIGNEE TO ACCEPT A
FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION ENTITLEMENT GRANT, GRANT
#36, IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $8,218,378 FOR THE
FOLLOWING PROJECTS: UPDATE AIRPORT MASTER PLAN STUDY;
REHABILITATE RUNWAY 13/31, PHASE 1; ACQUIRE 1500 GALLON
AIRCRAFT RESCUE & FIRE FIGHTING VEHICLE.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The City Manager or designee is authorized to accept a Federal Aviation
Administration Entitlement Grant, Grant #36, in an amount not to exceed $8,218,378 for
the following projects: Update Airport Master Plan Study; Rehabilitate Runway 13/31,
Phase 1; Acquire 1500 Gallon Aircraft Rescue & Fire Fighting Vehicle.
SECTION 2. If the grant is received, the City of Corpus Christi will comply with the
grant requirements of the Federal Aviation Administration.
