APPROPRIATING $2,605,124.62 FROM THE
UNAPPROPRIATED FUND BALANCE, WHICH INCLUDES
INTEREST, BOND PROCEEDS, AND OTHER MISCELLANEOUS
REVENUES, IN WATER ClP FUND 4080 FOR THE SOUTHSIDE
WATER TRANSMISSION MAIN PHASES 4 AND 4A; AMENDING
CAPITAL BUDGET ADOPTED BY ORDINANCE NO. 025647 TO
INCREASE APPROPRIATIONS BY $2,605,124.62; AND
DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS
CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That $2,605,124.62 from the unappropriated fund balance, which
includes interest, bond proceeds, and other miscellaneous revenues, from Water
CIP Fund 4080 is appropriated for the Southside Water Transmission Main
Phases 4 and 4a.
SECTION 2. That the Capital Budget adopted by Ordinance 025647 is amended
to increase appropriations by $2,605,124.62.
SECTION 3. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members,
copy attached, the City Council (1) finds and declares an emergency due to the
need for immediate action necessary for the efficient and effective administration
of City affairs and (2) suspends the Charter rule that requires consideration of
and voting upon ordinances at two regular meetings so that this ordinance is
p~s.sed and takes effect u. pon first reading as an emergency measure this the

emergency exists requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and
voting upon ordinances at two regular meetings: lANe, therefore, request that you

at the present meeting of the City Council.
