HomeMy WebLinkAbout025847 ORD - 07/20/2004ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $688,472 IN AIRPORT OPERATING FUND 4610; TRANSFERRING $688,472 INTO THE AIRPORT CAPITAL RESERVE FUND 4611 FOR AIRPORT CAPITAL PROJECTS AND CAPITAL EXPENDITURES; AMENDING FY 2003-2004 OPERATING BUDGET ADOPTED BY ORDINANCE NO. 025394 TO INCREASE APPROPRIATIONS BY $688,472; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That $688,472 is appropriated from reserve for capital expansion in Airport Operating Fund 4610 and $688,472 is transferred into the Airport Capital Reserve Fund 4611 for airport capital projects and capital expenditures. SECTION 2. That FY 2003-2004 Operating Budget adopted by Ordinance No. 025394 is amended to increase appropriations by $688,472. SECTION 3. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, the City Council (1) finds and declares an emergency due to the need for immediate action necessary for the efficient and effective administration of City affairs and (2) suspends the Charter rule that requires consideration of and voting upon ordinances at two regular meetings so that this ordinance is pas~[~N;J e~nd takes effect upon first reading as an emergency measure th~s the-L~ ~lay of ~-~, 2004.
