AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER, OR THE CITY MANAGER'S
DESIGNEE, TO ACCEPT A GRANT FROM THE TEXAS DEPARTMENT
OF HEALTH IN THE AMOUNT OF $222,333 TO FUND ESSENTIAL
PUBLIC HEALTH SERVICES SUCH AS DISEASE INVESTIGATION,
LABORATORY SERVICES AND ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH
SERVICES
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager, or the City Manager's designee, is authorized to accept
a grant from the Texas Department of Health in the amount of $222,333 to fund
essential public health services such as disease investigation, laboratory services, and
environmental health services.
