HomeMy WebLinkAbout026002 RES - 10/26/2004 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER, OR HIS DESIGNEE, TO ACCEPT A GRANT FROM THE FEDERAL EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AGENCY (FEMA) IN THE AMOUNT OF $400,000.00 THAT WILL PROVIDE FUNDING FOR CAPABILITY ASSESSMENT AND SUSTAINMENT OF THE METROPOLITAN MEDICAL RESPONSE SYSTEM, WITH A TERM EXTENDING THROUGH MARCH 31, 2006. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. The City Manager, or his designee, is authorized to accept a grant from the Federal Emergency Management Agency in the amount of $400,000.00 that will provide funding for capability assessment and sustainment of the Metropolitan Medical Response System, with a term extending through March 31,2006.
