RESOLUTION
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER, OR DESIGNEE, TO ACCEPT A
GRANT FROM THE TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH IN THE
AMOUNT OF $10,000 FOR THE COORDINATED COMMUNITY
APPROACH TO PROMOTE WELLNESS (CCAPWELL) CONSORTIUM
FOR UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS AT AUSTIN STAFF TO REVIEW AND
EVALUATE COMMUNITY SURVEY DATA CONCERNING NUTRITION
ASPECTS OF OBESITY HEALTH PROBLEMS
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS;
SECTION 1. The City Manager, or the City Manager's designee, is authorized to
accept a grant from the Texas Department of Health in the amount of $10,000 for the
coordinated community approach to promote wellness (CCAPWell) consortium for
University of Texas at Austin staff to review and evaluate community survey data
concerning nutrition aspects of obesity health problems.
