RESOLUTION
EXEMPTING RIVER RANCH ESTATES SUBDIVISION FROM THE
PAYMENT OF WASTEWATER ACREAGE FEES PURSUANT TO
SECTION V. B. 6.1. OF THE PLATTING ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, River Ranch Estates Subdivision (Subdivision) is located approximately 3
miles outside the city limits of the City of Corpus Christi and has no public water service;
WHEREAS, the owner, Mr. James H. Dean, has submitted a written request that the
Subdivision be exempt from the payment of wastewater acreage fees based on the
determination by the City's Wastewater Department that it is unlikely that wastewater
service will be available to the Subdivision within the next 15 years;
WHEREAS, based on Section V. B. 6. I. of the Platting Ordinance of the City of Corpus
Christi, City staff and the Planning Commission are recommending that the Subdivision
be exempt from the payment of wastewater acreage fees at this time.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the River Ranch Estates Subdivision is exempt from the
payment of wastewater acreage fees at this time, pursuant to Section V. B. 6. I. of the
Platting Ordinance of the City of Corpus Christi.
