HomeMy WebLinkAbout026197 ORD - 04/12/2005 AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $207,000 FROM THE ESTIMATED PROGRAM INCOME REVENUE IN THE NO. 1066 HEALTH GRANTS FUND AS STATE FISCAL YEAR 2004-2005 PROGRAM INCOME TO FUND THE BREAST AND CERVICAL CANCER CONTROL PROGRAM, IMMUNIZATION SERVICES, AND FAMILY PLANNING SERVICES FOR THE PERIOD OF SEPTEMBER 1, 2004, THROUGH AUGUST 31, 2005; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS, THAT: SECTION 1. Estimated program income revenue of $207,000 is appropriated in the No. 1066 Health Grants Fund as State fiscal year 2004-2005 program income that will be used to fund the Breast and Cervical Cancer Control Program, Immunization services, and Family Planning services for the period of September 1, 2004, through August 31,2005. SECTION 2. Upon the written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, the City Council: (1) finds and declares an emergency due to the need for immediate action necessary for the efficient and effective administration of City affairs, and (2) suspends the Charter rule that requires consideration of and voting upon ordinances at two regular meetings so that this ordinance is passed and takes effect uPO~~ing as an emergency measure on this the ~ day of , ,2005.
