Home My WebLink About026212 ORD - 04/12/2005 ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING AND APPROVING THE TRANSFER OF $600,000 FROM THE SANITARY SEWER TRUNK SYSTEM TRUST FUND NO. 4220-2504-10 TO THE SANITARY SEWER COLLECTION LINE TRUST FUND NO. 4220-250420 IN ACCORDANCE WITH SEC. V.B.6(h) OF THE PLATTING ORDINANCE TO ESTABLISH SUFFICIENT FUNDS IN THE COLLECTION LINE TRUST FUND TO CARRY OUT THE PURPOSE OF THE PLATTING ORDINANCE, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. The City is authorized to appropriate and transfer $600,000 from the Sanitary Sewer Trunk System Trust Fund No. 4220-2504-10 to the Sanitary Sewer Collection Line Trust Fund No. 4220-250420 in accordance with Sec. V.B.6(h) of the Platting Ordinance to establish sufficient funds in the Collection Line Trust Fund to carry out the purpose of the Platting Ordinance. SECTION 2. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, the City Council (1) finds and declares an emergency due to the need for immediate action necessary for the efficient and effective administration of City affairs and (2) suspends the Charter rule that requires consideration of and voting upon ordinances at two regular meetings so that this ordinance is passed and takes effect upon first reading as an emergency measure on this the 1ih day of April, 2005.
