A RESOLUTION
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR HIS DESIGNEE TO ACCEPT A
FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION GRANT NO 3-48-0051-37-2005
IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $7,788,088 FOR THE RUNWAY 13/31
REHABILITATION, BLAST PADS AND SHOULDERS, AIRFIELD
DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS - PHASE 3 AND RUNWAY 13/31 LIGHTING
AND CABLE REPLACEMENTS AT CORPUS CHRISTI INTERNATIONAL
AIRPORT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The City Manager or designee is authorized to accept a Federal Aviation
Administration Grant No 3-48-0051-37-2005 in an amount not to exceed $7,788,088 for
the Runway 13/31 Rehabilitation, Blast Pads and Shoulders, Airfield Drainage
Improvements - Phase 3 and Runway 13/31 Lighting and Cable Replacements at
Corpus Christi International Airport.
SECTION 2, If the grant is received, the City of Corpus Christi will comply with the
grant requirements of the Federal Aviation Administration.
