RESOLUTION
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER, OR DESIGNEE, TO SUBMIT A
GRANT APPLICATION TO THE TEXAS PARKS AND WILDLIFE
DEPARTMENT IN THE AMOUNT OF $147,795.00 FOR RENOVATION
AND RE-CONSTRUCTION OF THE HIKING/WALKING TRAIL AT WEST
GUTH PARK, WITH A CITY MATCH OF $47,795 IN THE NO. 4720
COMMUNITY ENRICHMENT FUND, AND A TOTAL PROJECT COST
OF $147,795.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager, or designee, is authorized to submit a grant application
to the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department In the amount of $147,795.00 for
renovation and re-construction of the hiking/walking trail at West Guth Park. The City
match for this grant is $47,795.00 in the No. 4720 Community Enrichment Fund, for a
total project cost of $147,795.00.
SECTION 2. The City Manager, or designee, may accept, reject, agree to alter the
terms and conditions of , or terminate the grant, if the grant is awarded to the City.
