HomeMy WebLinkAbout026291 ORD - 05/31/2005 ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $255,790 FROM THE WATER FUND UNAPPROPRIATED FUND BALANCE INTO WATER FUND NO. 4010 FOR THE UTILITY WATER RATE ANALYSIS STUDY; AMENDING THE FY2004-2005 ANNUAL OPERATING BUDGET ADOPTED BY ORDINANCE NO. 025878 BY INCREASING APPROPRIATIONS BY $255,790; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. SECTION 1. Appropriating $255,790 from the Water Fund Unappropriated Fund Balance into Water Fund No. 4010 for the utility water rate analysis study. SECTION 2. Amending FY 2004-2005 Annual Operating Budget adopted by Ordinance No. 025878 by increasing appropriations by $255,790. SECTION 3. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, the City Council (1) finds and declares an emergency due to the need for immediate action necessary for the efficient and effective administration of City affairs and (2) suspends the Charter rule that requires consideration of and voting upon ordinances at two regular meetings so that this ordinance is 3a~sed and takes effect upon first reading as an emergency measure this the l'ilr day of May, 2005.
