RESOLUTION
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER, OR DESIGNEE, TO ACCEPT A
GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $15,000 IN THE NO. 1067
FEDERAUSTATE GRANT FUND TO BE USED FOR THE
COORDINATED COMMUNITY APPROACH TO PROMOTE WELLNESS
(CCAPWell) AND DEVELOP A STRATEGIC PLAN TO COMBAT
OBESITY IN OUR COMMUNITY.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager, or designee, is authorized to accept a grant in the
amount of $15,000 in the NO.1 067 Federal/State Grant Fund to be used for the
Coordinated Community Approach to Promote Wellness (CCAPWell) and develop a
strategic plan to combat obesity in our community.
SECTION 2. The City Manager, or designee, may accept, reject, agree to alter the
terms and conditions of, or terminate the grant, if awarded to the City.
