RESOLUTION
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER, OR THE CITY MANAGER'S
DESIGNEE, TO EXECUTE AN INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE
CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS (CITY) AND SAN PATRICIO COUNTY,
TEXAS (COUNTY) WHEREBY CITY AGREES TO PAY COUNTY $7,500 FOR
THE SERVICES OF A TECHNICAL SUPERVISOR TO OPERATE THE
CORPUS CHRISTI POLICE DEPARTMENT'S INTOXIL VZER (BREATH
ALCOHOL) TESTING PROGRAM FOR THE TWELVE (12) MONTH PERIOD
OF JANUARY 1, 2005 THROUGH DECEMBER 31, 2005.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS THAT:
SECTION 1. The City Council hereby authorizes the City Manager or his
designee to execute an Interlocal Agreement between the City of Corpus Christi,
Texas and San Patricio County, Texas whereby City agrees to pay County
$7,500 for the services of a technical supervisor to operate the Corpus Christi
Police Department's Intoxilyzer (breath alcohol) testing program for the twelve
(12) month period of January 1,2005 through December 31,2005.

CERTIFICATION OF FUNDS
(City Charter Article IV, Sections 7 & 8)
I. the Director of Finance of the City of Corpus Christi, Texas (or his/her duly authorized representative),
hereby certify to the City Council and other appropriate officer that the money required for the contract,
agreement, obligation or expenditure described below is in the Treasury to the credit of the Fund specified
below from which it is to be drawn, and has not been appropriated for any other purpose.
