RESOLUTION
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR HIS DESIGNEE TO
ACCEPT A GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $707,709 AND TO
EXECUTE A CONTRACT AND ALL RELATED DOCUMENTS
WITH THE TEXAS STATE LIBRARY AND ARCHIVES
COMMISSION FOR THE CONTINUED OPERATION OF THE
SOUTH TEXAS LIBRARY SYSTEM LOCATED AT THE CORPUS
CHRISTI PUBLIC LIBRARY, FOR STATE FISCAL YEAR 2005-
2006.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager or his designee is authorized to accept a grant in the
amount of $707,709 and to execute a contract and all related documents with the Texas
State Library and Archives Commission for the continued operation of the South Texas
[ ibrarv System located at the Corpus Christi Public Library, for state fiscal year 2005-
.'006.
