RESOLUTION
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER, OR DESIGNEE, TO ACCEPT A
GRANT FROM THE TEXAS FOREST SERVICE IN THE AMOUNT OF
$29,428 FOR A PROFESSIONAL FORESTER POSITION, WITH $29,428
MATCH FROM THE NO. 1020 GENERAL FUND
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager, or designee, is authorized to accept a grant from the
Texas Forest Service in the amount of $29,428 for a professional forester position, with
$29,428 match from the No.1 020 General Fund
SECTION 2. The City Manager, or designee, may accept, reject, agree to alter the
terms and conditions, or terminate the grant, if the grant is awarded to the City.
SECTION 3. In the event of the loss or misuse of these funds, the City of Corpus
Christi assures that the funds will be returned to the Texas Forest Service in full.
