HomeMy WebLinkAbout026518 ORD - 10/18/2005 ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $2,156.80 FROM UNAPPROPRIATED INTEREST EARNINGS AND MISCELLANEOUS REVENUES FROM CONVENTION CENTER 2002 CIP FUND NO. 3181 FOR THE AMERICAN BANK CENTER PARKING LOT EXPANSION; AMENDING THE CAPITAL BUDGET ADOPTED BY ORDINANCE NO. 026188 BY INCREASING APPROPRIATIONS BY $2,156.80; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. Appropriating $2,156.80 from Unappropriated Interest Earnings and Miscellaneous Revenues from Convention Center 2002 CIP Fund No. 3181 for the American Bank Center Parking Lot Expansion. SECTION 2. Amending the Capital Budget adopted by Ordinance No. 026188 increasing appropriations by $2,156.80. SECTION 3. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, the City Council (1) finds and declares an emergency due to the need for immediate action necessary for the efficient and effective administration of City affairs and (2) suspends the Charter rule that requires consideration of and voting upon ordinances at two regular meetings so that this ordinance is passed and takes effect upon first reading as an emergency measure this the i8th. day of October, 2005.
