AN ORDINANCE
APPROPRIATING $230,700 FROM THE ESTIMATED PROGRAM
INCOME REVENUE IN THE NO. 1066 HEALTH GRANTS FUND AS
STATE FISCAL YEAR 2005-2006 PROGRAM INCOME TO FUND
LABORATORY AND NURSING SERVICES FOR THE PERIOD OF
SEPTEMBER 1, 2005, THROUGH AUGUST 31, 2006; AND DE-
CLARING AN EMERGENCY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Estimated program income revenue. in the amount of $230,700, is
appropriated in the NO.1 066 Health Grants Fund as State fiscal year 2005-2006
program income to fund laboratory and nursing services for the period of Septem-
ber 1,2005, through August 31,2006
SECTION 2. Upon the written request of the Mayor or five Council members. copy
attached, the City Council: (1) finds and declares an emergency due to the need for
Immediate action necessary for the efficient and effective administration of City
affairs, and (2) suspends the Charter rule that requires consideration of and voting
upon ordinances at two regular meetings so that this ordinance is I?a~d and takes

present meeting of the City Council.
