HomeMy WebLinkAbout026540 ORD - 11/15/2005 AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING ADDITIONAL EARNED REVENUE, IN THE AMOUNT OF $52,300, FROM THE FY04-05 WOMEN, INFANTS, AND CHILDREN PROGRAM IN THE NO. 1066 HEALTH GRANTS FUND FOR CONTINUATION OF THE PROGRAM; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS, THAT: SECTION 1. Additional earned revenue, in the amount of $52,300, is appropriated In the No, 1066 Health Grants Fund from the FY04-05 Women, Infants, and Children Program for continuation of the program. SECTION 2. Upon the written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached. the City Council: (1) finds and declares an emergency due to the need for Immediate action necessary for the efficient and effective administration of City affairs, and (2) suspends the Charter rule that requires consideration of and voting upon ordinances at two regular meetings so that this ordinance is passed and takes ~pon first reading as an eme, rgency measure on this the --1 ~ day of ~ ,2005 ATTEST CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI 1'\ '.
