HomeMy WebLinkAbout026552 ORD - 11/15/2005 ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 026385 WHICH ADOPTED THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI OPERATING BUDGET FOR THE YEAR BEGINNING AUGUST 1, 2005, BY DECREASING BOTH REVENUES AND APPROPRIATIONS BY $231,471 IN THE NO. 1020 FUND; AND DECREASING REVENUES BY $108,065 IN THE NO. 2010 FUND; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That Ordinance No. 026385 which adopted the City of Corpus Christi Operating Budget for the year beginning August 1, 2005, is amended by decreasing both revenues and appropriations by $231,471 in the NO.1 020 General Fund SECTION 2. That Ordinance No. 026385 which adopted the City of Corpus Christi Operating Budget for the year beginning August 1, 2005 is amended by decreasing revenues by $108,065 in the No. 2010 Fund. SECTION 3. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, the City Council (1) finds and declares an emergency due to the need for immediate action necessary for the efficient and effective administration of City affairs and (2) suspends the Charter rule that requires consideration of and voting upon ordinances at two regular meetings so that this ordinance is passed and t~ ~irst reading as an emergency measure this the .
