HomeMy WebLinkAbout026574 RES - 12/20/2005 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER, OR DESIGNEE, TO SUBMIT A GRANT APPLICATION THE COASTAL BEND COUNCIL OF GOVERNMENTS IN THE AMOUNT OF $10,000, TO DEVELOP A COMMUNITY MEDIA OUTREACH CAMPAIGN FOR THE CITY'S ANTI- UTTER ORDINANCE, WITH A CITY MATCH OF $10,000 IN THE NO. 1020 GENERAL FUND, AND A TOTAL PROJECT COST OF $20,000. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. The City Manager, or designee, is authorized to submit a grant application to the Coastal Bend Council of Governments in the amount of $10,000 to develop a community media outreach campaign for the City's anti-litter ordinance. The City match for this grant is $10,000 in the NO.1 020 General Fund, for a total project cost of $20,000 SECTION 2. The City Manager, or designee, may accept, reject, agree to alter the terms and conditions, or terminate the grant, if the grant is awarded to the City.
