AUTHORIZING AND APPROVING THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI TO
SERVE AS THE LEAD AGENCY AND FISCAL AGENT FOR THE
"HOME 2008 CONTINUUM OF CARE" GRANT APPLICATION TO THE
U.S. DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT; AND
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER, OR THE CITY MANAGER'S
DESIGNEE, TO EXECUTE ALL NECESSARY DOCUMENTS RELATED
TO SUBMISSION OF A GRANT APPLICATION TO THE U.S.
DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT IN THE
AMOUNT OF $1,147,926 FOR CONTINUUM OF CARE HOMELESS
ASSISTANCE
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The City of Corpus Christi agrees to serve as the lead agency and fiscal
agent for the "HOME 2008 Continuum of Care" grant application to the U.S. Department
of Housing and Urban Development.
SECTION 2. The City Manager or the City Manager's designee, is authorized to
execute all necessary documents related to submission of a grant application to the
U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development in the amount of $1,147,926 for
Continuum of Care Homeless Assistance.
SECTION 3. The City Manager or the City Manager's designee, may accept, reject, or
agree to alter the terms and conditions. or terminate the grant, if the grant is awarded to
the City
