(RANTING REQUEST OF CORPUS CHRISTI MASONIC LODGE NO.
189, A.F. & A.M. FOR PROPERTY TAX EXEMPTION UNDER TEXAS
TAX CODE SECTION 11.184
WFIEREAS. Corpus Christi Masonic Lodge No. 189, A.F. & A.M., ( "Masonic Lodge ")
,;yith mailing address P. O. Box 6704, Corpus Christi, Texas, 78466 -6704, has filed an
application for property tax exemption under Section 1 1.184 of the Texas Tax Code;
WI IEREAS. Masonic Lodge has received letter from the Texas Comptroller's Office that
Masonic Lodge qualifies fir property tax relief as a qualifying charitable organization;
WHEREAS. Masonic Lodge has provided information in compliance with the
City of Corpus Christi Guidelines Regarding Requests from Qualified Charitable
Organizations for Property Fax Exemption under Section 11.184 of the Tax Code;
NOW, THEREFORE BE I1 RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CORPUS CHRISTI AS FOLLOWS'
Section 1: The request of Corpus Christi Masonic Lodge No. 189, A.F. & A.M. for
property tax exemption is hereby approved for property eligible under Section 11.184 (c ) of the
Fax Code as determined by records of Nueces County Appraisal District. This exemption
expires at the end of the fifth tax year after the year in which the exemption is granted.
Section 2: This Resolution shall take effect and be in full force immediately after its
adoption bv- the Council
