APPROPRIATING $125,000 IN THE AIRPORT OPERATING FUND 4610
FROM UNRESERVED FUND BALANCE AND $75,000 FROM
AVIATION RESERVE FUND BALANCE FOR EMERGENCY AIRPORT
CHILLER SYSTEM RENTAL AND REPAIRS; AMENDING FY 2005 -2006
OPERATING BUDGET ADOPTED BY ORDINANCE NO. 026385 TO
INCREASE APPROPRIATIONS BY $200,000; AND DECLARING AN
EMERGENCY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That $125,000 in the Airport Operating Fund 4610 is appropriated from
unreserved fund balance and $75,000 from Aviation Reserve Fund Balance for
emergency Airport Chiller System rental and repairs.
SECTION 2. That FY 2005 -2006 Operating Budget adopted by Ordinance No. 026385
is mended by increasing appropriations by $200,000.
SECTION 3. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy
attached, the City Council (1) finds and declares an emergency due to the need for
immediate action necessary for the efficient and effective administration of City affairs
and (2) suspends the Charter rule that requires consideration of and voting upon
ordinances at two regular meetings so that this ordinapce is pa sed and takes effect
upon first reading as an emergency measure this the-15'day of � . , 2006.
