RESOLUTION
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR CITY MANAGER'S
DESIGNEE TO EXECUTE AN INTERLOCAL COOPERATION
AGREEMENT WITH TEXAS A &M UNIVERSITY - KINGSVILLE IN
THE AMOUNT OF $425,000 FOR AN AIR QUALITY RESEARCH
AND PLANNING PROGRAM, WHICH INCLUDES AIR QUALITY
MONITORING AND MODELING PROJECTS, AND
DEVELOPMENT OF AN EMISSIONS INVENTORY FOR THE
NUECES AND SAN PATRICIO COUNTIES AREA.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS
CHRISTI, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1 The City of Corpus Christi has entered into a contract for a
$884,600 grant from the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ)
for the purpose of conducting air quality research, planning, and educational
outreach in Nueces and San Patricio Counties for FY 2006/2007. Texas A &M
University- Kingsville (TAMU -K) is seeking a subcontract to perform certain
specified portions of the project work plan
