AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER, OR HIS DESIGNEE, TO
EXECUTE THE ELECTION REGARDING STATE USE OF HSGP
FUNDING FOR STATEWIDE LOCAL PROJECTS TO ALLOW THE
STATE OF TEXAS TO UTILIZE HOMELAND SECURITY GRANT
FUNDS FOR REGIONAL EXERCISES AND TO REJECT THE
ELECTION FOR THE USE OF LOCAL FUNDS FOR TDEX
IMPLEMENTATION, AND LIVE SCAN IMPLEMENTATION.
Si IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SICTION 1. The City Manager, or the City Manager's designee, is authorized to
emcute the Election Regarding State Use of HSGP Funding for Statewide Local
Projects to allow the State of Texas to utilize Homeland Security Grant Funds for
regional exercises and to reject the Election for use of local funds for TDEX
Implementation and Live Scan Implementation
